From March 3 to 17, Fundación Luksic’s Impulso Inicial program held its first call of the year, focused on supporting entrepreneurs through concrete and direct assistance: semi-industrial machinery, tools, and training sessions both for proper equipment use and for strengthening business management.
“Boosting Experience” was specifically designed for people over 60 from all regions of Chile, who increasingly see entrepreneurship as a valuable path to economic autonomy and personal development.
The call received over 3,000 applications from entrepreneurs throughout the country. Cristián Schalper, Director of Entrepreneurship at Fundación Luksic, highlighted the strong response:
“We are very pleased to be developing an initiative that supports this segment of the population. They are key contributors to the economy, and we must strengthen their talents and believe in their potential.”
What’s next?
The Fundación Luksic team will carry out the selection process by reviewing whether applicants meet the general eligibility criteria. The evaluation phase will continue through April 15, 2025, and support will be delivered to selected entrepreneurs between May 5 and June 17. All communication with applicants will be conducted via email: [email protected].
“Boosting Experience” is the fourth themed call under the Impulso Inicial program aimed at a specific group or sector within the entrepreneurship ecosystem. In 2024, previous editions focused on gastronomy, sewing and tailoring, and manual trades and crafts. New editions are planned for June and September, and all related updates—including eligibility requirements and target audiences—will be published on fundacionluksic.cl and the Foundation’s social media channels.
