Through a video recorded at the Antofagasta Institute, Isabella Luksic announced a contribution amounting to 2 billion Chilean pesos. Fundación Luksic financed the full construction of the Center — an investment of 10 billion pesos — and since then has committed annual contributions to support its operation.

More than 32,000 children and young people with various types of motor disabilities are supported by Teletón, an organization that held its annual solidarity event this weekend with the goal of improving patients’ quality of life and strengthening their abilities to enable social inclusion.

Staying true to its long-standing commitment to the institution, the Luksic family announced a donation of 2 billion pesos, funds that will allow the Antofagasta Teletón Institute to operate throughout 2026.

“As a family and Foundation, our hearts are in Antofagasta, so we are even more moved to support the tremendous work Teletón carries out in this region and across Chile. We are proud to have contributed to the construction of this building and to remain committed to supporting its ongoing operation,” said Isabella Luksic in the video.

The Antofagasta Teletón Institute, one of the most modern centers in the country, provided more than 40,000 treatments over the past 12 months. It was inaugurated in 2020 and is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation technology, including a gait laboratory, multisensory rooms, a therapeutic pool, and specialized equipment.

Its construction was pledged by the Luksic family in 2014 and materialized through a 10-billion-peso donation. Since then, Fundación Luksic has continuously supported the center’s operation during every edition of Teletón.
