With the conviction that entrepreneurship is a social engine in Chile —with nearly 2 million entrepreneurs according to official figures— Fundación Luksic launched the seventh edition of the program, founded in 2018 by Andrónico Luksic Craig, which seeks to provide concrete support to entrepreneurs across the country. With this edition, a total of 1,420 people will have been supported.
“Through this new edition of Impulso Chileno, we want to send a clear message to entrepreneurs across the country: we trust them, their businesses, their talents, and their abilities. We have seen firsthand the inspiring stories of men and women who, with dedication and passion, move their ventures forward in every region of Chile. That’s why we want to keep providing this boost to even more people,” said Cristian Schalper, Director of Entrepreneurship at Fundación Luksic.
For her part, Fundación Luksic’s CEO, Macarena Cea, emphasized: “Through their ventures, people not only generate income, but also contribute to individual and collective well-being —and therefore to Chile’s development. That’s why our commitment to entrepreneurs is renewed with even greater strength, and this year we decided to double the number of participants in Impulso Chileno.”
The competition is open to individuals over 18 years old, Chilean or foreign nationals with permanent residency, who are either business owners or majority shareholders of the business they apply with, in any sector. To participate, applicants must have initiated first-category activities with the Internal Revenue Service prior to March 1, 2025. In addition, businesses must have had sales of more than 150 UF and less than 5,000 UF in the last calendar year (September 2024 to August 2025). Applications must be submitted online at the foundation’s website by Monday, October 6, at 11:59 p.m.
