From the north to the south of Chile, the call brought together innovative ideas and businesses across multiple sectors. Regional participation took the spotlight, with 70% of applicants coming from outside the Metropolitan Region. Among all applicants, 65% were women, reflecting the growing leadership of women in entrepreneurship. The most represented sectors were food (25%), services (21%), and commerce (20%), demonstrating the wide variety of businesses seeking to grow and generate a positive impact in their communities.
After verifying that the applications met the eligibility criteria, the Fundación Luksic team selected 2,500 pre-qualified entrepreneurs, who have been contacted via email and will now move on to the next stage. During this phase, both the characteristics of each business—considering the relevance of the requested funding—and the entrepreneur’s profile were evaluated to ensure that every applicant has the commitment and capacity needed to advance their project.
“We are very pleased to announce the 2,500 pre-selected participants of Impulso Chileno. We value the effort of every applicant and hope that those who did not advance remain encouraged, and that La Brújula del Emprendedor has provided them with a useful tool to guide and strengthen their businesses,” said Cristián Schalper, Director of Entrepreneurship at Fundación Luksic.
Next Steps:
The 2,500 pre-selected entrepreneurs must now complete the second stage of the application process, which includes submitting additional documents and answering follow-up questions. Once this information is received, each participant will be contacted by phone to confirm key details.
Finally, the 500 winners of the program will be announced during the week of November 17, via email. They will later be invited to an official kick-off ceremony, with details to be shared in due course.
All information about Impulso Chileno and upcoming steps is available in the program guidelines and will be communicated through Fundación Luksic’s social media channels.
