Fundación Luksic concluded a new call for Impulso Chileno, receiving more than 22,600 applications from all 16 regions of the country. The program, already established as one of the main supports for national entrepreneurship, aims to strengthen formalized entrepreneurs who seek to grow their businesses and generate a positive impact in their communities.
The regions with the highest participation were the Metropolitan Region, which accounted for 30% of the applications, and the Valparaíso Region, with 11%. In addition, 65% of applicants were women, reflecting the growing female presence in the entrepreneurial ecosystem. Regarding business sectors, the areas with the highest participation were food (25%), services (21%), and commerce (20%).
In this seventh edition, 500 entrepreneurs will be selected to receive funding. This year, all applicants were required to complete “La Brújula del Emprendedor”, a digital leveling tool that provides an automated business diagnosis and personalized guidance in key areas such as management, finance, and commercial planning. This step allowed each participant to receive practical and useful support from the moment of application, enhancing their learning and creating value even before the results of the process were announced.
Cristián Schalper Sepúlveda, Director of Entrepreneurship at Fundación Luksic, stated: “We are very pleased with the great interest shown by entrepreneurs in being part of this new edition of Impulso Chileno. In addition, this year all applicants will have the opportunity to continue developing their businesses thanks to the La Brújula del Emprendedor tool.”
Next steps
During the next week, the review and selection process of the projects will take place, announcing the 2,500 pre-selected applicants on Monday, October 13, 2025. This notification will be sent via email, and the entrepreneurs will move on to a second stage of the application, where they must provide additional information about their business.
All information about Impulso Chileno and the next steps of the program will be available at www.fundacionluksic.cl and on the Foundation’s social media channels.
