From April 28 to May 12, 2025, applications were open for the sixth edition of Despega Mujer, a program run by the Entrepreneurship division of Fundación Luksic. Since its launch in 2021, the initiative has aimed to provide flexible and comprehensive support to women entrepreneurs in Chile through funding, training, mentorship, and learning circles.
This call received 1,792 applications from women in the regions of Atacama (21%), O’Higgins (54%), and Los Ríos (25%). Applicants ranged in age from 19 to 78, with an average age of 39. The most commonly represented business areas were food services, sewing, printing and stationery, beauty services, and handicrafts.
“We received outstanding applications and are very excited by the talent, creativity, and commitment shown by the applicants. Now we face the challenge of selecting the winners. We are fully committed to offering support that truly helps their businesses take off and grow with purpose and impact,” said Cristián Schalper, Director of Entrepreneurship at Fundación Luksic.
